Deactivation of an onboard card
- Go to Start menu-> System-> control panel.
- Double click on the symbol System, to open the window of System information.
- Click on the tab Hardware.
- Afterwards go go into the Device Manager.
- Now click on the "+" before Display adapters.
- Click with the right mouse button on the shown display adapter and choose "Disable".
- Click in the following window "Yes".
- Click on "No".
- Afterwards shut down Windows and install the new graphic card.
